Course Description:

This course is for people who want to understand and apply their HANDLE Level 1 & 2 course training more thoroughly. This course is NOT a Certification Course. It is intended for those who are interested in bringing the HANDLE Activities into their current work, be it classrooms or clinics.The level of focus will be intended for those with mild to moderate challenges. It is NOT intended to prepare students to work with significantly involved individuals.

What is covered in this course?

• Further exploration of the concepts taught in Levels 1 and 2.
• Building a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Foundations of the HANDLE Paradigm and the Systems.
• We will work on our powers of observation to see what behaviors may be telling us about which Systems need support. We will also be looking to see which Systems are well established and providing support.
• Review and explore more deeply the activities taught in Levels 1 and 2, that can be applied to enhance functions for those you are working with; as well as how to modify the activities to meet the needs of the people with whom you work.
• Expansion of your capacities to feel, watch, listen and think. To be present.

Prerequisites

Completed Levels 1 and 2 sometime within the last two (2) years. You can request access to the recordings of Level 1 & 2.

About the Instructor:

Nancy is a Certified HANDLE Practitioner, Screener and Instructor. She is a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Her HANDLE practice has primarily focused on children with significant neurodevelopmental challenges including those with significant communication challenges (non speaking individuals), but she has also worked with adults. Nancy has been involved with HANDLE since 2009.

Nancy is passionate about nutrition and holistic health. Food is medicine and the foundation for healing. She is currently studying Holistic Herbalism.

Nancy has a background in Waldorf Education and spent her early childhood through high school grduation at the Kimberton (Farms) waldorf School. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Chemistry.
