This HANDLE Introductory and Basics combined course brings you the science behind body-brain functioning. It includes how young brains develop into complex interactive neural networks and provides an overview of components that facilitate neural developmental growth, as well as components that will interfere with this process. What goes on in our brain will reflect in what we do, how we learn, how we feel, and more.

Originally from Europe, Nancy holds a Belgian degree in education and is trained in multiple approaches, interventions and assessments that can be supportive for those who experience some challenges in life and learning.She also studied "Leaders of Learning" at Harvard University. Nancy runs a practice in Hammonds Plains (Canada) where she works with a wide range of clients — Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Microcephaly, Developmental Delays... She teaches courses and workshops on a variety of topics in Canada, Belgium, The Netherlands and Switzerland. In this course she will share with you her HANDLE knowledge, gained over 13 years of affiliation with the HANDLE Institute.
