Course Description

3-5pm (for four Mondays) Alaska time. Find your time zone here:  http://www.thetimezoneconverter.com/

Take this Level 1 class in a leisurely manner in the comfort of your home or office (wear your pajamas if you like!).  Each session is two hours long and includes families and professionals, learning from each other.  It will include learning HANDLE activities and the unique qualities of HANDLE.

Have you wanted to take a HANDLE course but could not find the time or could not travel to the event? This is the event for you. Four sessions of two hours each will get you through the training and connect you with many interesting people. See yourself and others through new eyes.

HANDLE is an intervention that works with all ages and most issues of behavior, social, emotional and physical function.  It works with the knowledge of normal neurodevelopment and neuroplasticity to help the body and brain work together more efficiently.  In the process individuals come to have an intimate understanding of why some things are difficult.  This leads to more patience, acceptance and tolerance while the brain develops new neural pathways and daily function improves.
