DESCRIPTION
HANDLE® - The Holistic Approach to NeuroDevelopment and Learning Efficiency - looks beyond the labels at the underlying causes of perplexing behaviors and specific disorders. Learn how nutrition and specific gentle activities enhance human capability at every stage of life. Understand how to adapt environmental factors, how to honor hypersensitivities, and how behavior is the body’s language — not something to hide or control artificially.
This program will provide you - families, caregivers, educators and therapists –
with information and specific activities that may change your life. HANDLE has helped families across the nation and around the world to achieve significant results, for children and adults alike.

INSTRUCTORS
Presented by: Joanne Munson, MIT/UW.
Certified HANDLE Screener Joanne has been working with the HANDLE® Approach for 7 years in school and home-based settings. She has a Masters in Teaching and holds a Special Ed endorsement. Joanne uses her knowledge of educational methods with neurodevelopmental science to serve individuals with disorders ranging from mild learning disorders through autism and acquired brain injury. She also has personal experience in using the HANDLE Approach to overcome the effects of chemotherapy on the brain.
